Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in revenue cycle management and possess strong data entry skills. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where accuracy and efficiency are key.
Duties:
- Process accounts receivable transactions promptly and accurately
- Perform data entry to record payments and adjustments
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
- Assist with billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain documentation and records of financial transactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper revenue recognition
Experience:
- Prior experience in accounts receivable or related field
- Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage
- Knowledge of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance standards
- Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette
- Experience in medical billing is a plus
- Ability to code and categorize financial transactions accurately
