Job Summary:
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the financial health of our organization by managing and maintaining accurate records of incoming payments. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely and efficient processing of accounts receivable transactions, monitor outstanding balances, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing:
• Generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices to clients.
• Verify the accuracy of billing data and resolve any discrepancies.
• Payment Processing:
• Record and post incoming payments from clients.
• Reconcile payments received with outstanding invoices.
• Customer Communication:
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payment status.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve customer concerns.
• Record Maintenance:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts receivable transactions.
• Monitor and manage the aging of accounts to ensure timely collection.
• Reporting:
• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status for management review.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving the accounts receivable process.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma; additional accounting coursework or degree is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the finance team and other departments to streamline processes and resolve issues.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
