SelecTransportation Resources, LLC is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Houston, TX
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our growing company. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will perform routine accounting tasks to support the daily operations of our accounting team. Under the direction of our Controller, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will assist in ensuring that payment is received for goods and services offered to our customers.
Accounts Receivable Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Post customer payments by recording cash, check, and credit card transactions.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Facilitate payment of invoices by sending account statements and contacting customers.
- Verify validity of account discrepancies and resolve any billing issues by communicating effectively both internally and externally.
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
Accounts Receivable Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with basic accounting procedures
- Customer service orientation
- Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
- Attentive to details
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and to grow with the company
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
