TEG is Hiring an Accounts Payable Lead Near Mesquite, TX
Our client in Mesquite is looking for an Accounts Payable Lead that supports the accounting and finance department, maintaining multiple companies with invoicing and billing. This position is in-office.
Duties
- Experience with local and state sales and use taxation
- Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
- Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
- Analyzing workflow processes
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
- Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
- Processing due invoices for payments
- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
- Complete all year end reporting, including 1099 filings
- Other administrative support as needed
- BA - Accounting or Business preferred
- 3-5 years in professional multi-location and/or multi-business accounting
- Current working knowledge of ERP systems, PLEX and/or manufacturing systems STRONGLY preferred
- Background in Automotive or Manufacturing, STRONGLY preferred
- Deep working knowledge of accounting principals
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Exceptional data entry skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
