The Talent Acquisition Specialist thrives on building partnerships with Operations leadership to deploy effective and timely sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches. The TA Specialist will exhibit passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the sourcing and placement process. Exemplifies a “can-do” approach with business leaders to attract technical talent to Tech-24.

Define both current and future hiring needs, refining job descriptions and minimum qualifications, sourcing candidates through databases and social media, implementing assessment tools, conducting interviews, complying with reporting requirements, and keeping abreast of employment law and legislation. Serve as an expert with the Company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Forge dynamic relationships with colleagues to possess insight of the company's mission, values, and roles; working knowledge of Human Resources policies and practices; as well as understanding federal and state laws regarding employment practices. Assess candidates' skills, experience and relevant knowledge and compare them to job and organizational requirements.

Foster a collaborative team environment and a strong service-oriented culture. Operates in a fast-paced environment, can “roll-up” their sleeves, work diligently, create enthusiasm, pioneer and cultivate new ideas, and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Attract suitable candidates through postings, databases, online employment forums, referral programs, industry connection, local events, Trade Schools, etc.
  • Promoting the company's reputation and attractiveness as an “employer of choice”. Source passive applicants using both practical and creative methods to fill open positions. Assess applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
  • Collaborate with Director, Talent Acquisition and Operations leadership in identifying current and future hiring needs and developing associated job descriptions and specifications.
  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management.
  • Construct and recommend ideas and strategies related to sourcing and recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing new processes and fine-tuning standard processes for recruiting that accomplishes Tech24‘s mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customers.
  • Lead in sourcing projects/recruiting initiatives including, but not limited to, meet-ups; tech events; conferences.
  • Order, track and report on candidate background checks, drug screens and assessment tests.
  • Create and generate offer and/or assignment letters to successful candidates.
  • Monitor external mailbox and ensure timely replies to inquiries.
  • Ensure accurate and timely applicant tracking system for weekly/monthly metrics and dashboard.
  • Execute special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for professional managerial openings.
  • Ensure all required OFCCP candidate documentation is received/maintained. Keeping up to date on current employment legislation and regulations and ensuring compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned by cognizant supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in a business-related field or equivalent in education and work experience.
  • Demonstrated evidence of insatiable curiosity to craft innovative approaches to gain passive candidates’ engagement.
  • Follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Service industry is experience is preferred.
  • English - oral and written. Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge in ATS and employment search engines. Microsoft Excel & Word.
  • Experience with ADP’s Workforce Now is preferred.
  • Social media proficiency highly recommended.
