Since 1950 Brandywine Machine Company has grown into one of the most well-known & trusted stainless steel machining facilities in the United States. We continually expand our base of satisfied customers due to our commitment to excellence and passion for being the best. We don't need to market our products because our reputation does that for us!

We are looking for an Inside Sales Rep to focus on serving our customers by providing accurate quotes for custom stainless steel plates.


What is Expected of our Inside Sales Rep:

  • Take requests from our repeat customers (usually via email)
  • Ask clarifying questions if needed
  • Generate custom quotes using our software
  • Send quotes back to customers – our goal is same-day response time
  • Follow up with customers within 24 hours after sending the quote


About Our Ideal Inside Sales Rep:

  • Experienced: 2 years of inside sales or customer service. Willing to train for industry knowledge. Experience in generating custom quotes or having a background in parts, working in a machine shop, and/or the steel industry is a plus but not required.
  • Accurate: Detailed. Correctly enters the specs into our software and ensures the quote is accurate.
  • Computer Savvy: Able to learn new software & navigate a computer confidently.
  • Prompt: Respond to customer inquiries quickly, with a same-day quote goal.
  • Consistent: While each quote is custom and unique, following the processes requires consistency and attention to detail to generate an accurate quote.
  • Clear Communicator: Most of our communication with customers happens via email. They send us specs, and we generate a quote and return it. Must communicate clearly and concisely while still building relationships and trust via email.
  • Down-to-earth: Working in a casual, privately-owned office without customers walking through the door. Sales interactions are over the phone & by email, so there's no need to "dress up" for work.
