We are a fast-growing women owned bubble tea and dessert cafe local from Chicago. (We have 12 locations now and are expanding). We are looking for excited, responsible, optimistic team members to join our team in order to promote our “Love for tea, love for health, love for others!” brand!
What you will do:
The role of the store operating manager is to ensure the overall success and operation needs are met while supporting and providing leadership to the team members. The manager enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can work efficiently under pressure. The manager will work with and develop a team of baristas to provide exceptional customer service, quality drinks and desserts and clean environment. With a high reputation at Te’amo Organic, the manager must possess a high sense of responsibility, quality, ethics, and integrity.
Responsibilities:
● Manage workflow, ensure the store works in an organized and efficient manner
● Hire and train new employees (delegate to supervisors)
● Work in store alongside employees, lead the shift
● Prepare weekly work schedule that ensures maximum efficiency, maintains high level of customer service, and meets the sales and cost report requirement
● Prepare weekly inventory order spreadsheet, accurately tracking supply shortages
● Control store cleaning, including kitchen area and entire store (delegate to employees)
● Organize delivery items with supervisor and employees on back shelf and all fridges
● Solve customer questions and complaints, answer phone calls and maintain excellent customer service
● Make continuous improvements towards store sales, employee management, and customer service
● Manage the POS, daily cash drawer, and tips accurately
● Responsible for protecting the store’s assets by following correct food safety, security, company’s property, and cash handling
● Communicate and delegate the above managerial tasks with assistant manager
Qualifications:
● Previous restaurant / coffee shop experience (preferred, not required)
● Ability to demonstrate leadership and provide excellent hospitality
● Provide on-going ability to drive sales and control costs
● Experience with training, developing, and motivating others
● Communication and leadership skills
● Basic computer skills
● U.S. work authorization (required)
● Weekend and holiday availability
● Position will require passing Te’amo Organic’s Amorista training and minimum of 1 year of work
● Stand and walk constantly for entire shifts.
● Lift, carry, stack, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
