The Job Description: Supervisor/Administrator needed for full time position at Tarrytown Pharmacy. We are an independent family-owned retail pharmacy with a large front end of home decor, candles, gift wrap, clothing, stationery, and specialty bath lines. The position will serve as the lead manager in the Front End department: scheduling, hiring, and managing the day to day activities and workload of three other cashier managers and five part-time cashiers. Additionally, running a cash register, helping customers in the store, cleaning, stocking merchandise, and managing the store both days and evenings and on rotating weekends. Forty hours/week - rarely more. Set Schedule.
Must have strong leadership, a mentoring, team-oriented attitude, and personnel management skills, and be able to maintain a positive, nontoxic work environment. Skills include having a mentoring attitude, be personable, customer service oriented, self-starting, flexible, solution oriented, and able to work in a fast paced environment. Coaching/Training experience is a plus.
The job does include working some nights and every fourth weekend. We offer full benefits, paid vacation, a 401k match, long term disability, and an excellent work environment.
You MUST have previous retail management experience.
