Tallavera is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)s in and around Albany, NY. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) candidates are preferred to have 6 months of experience and must have a current NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.

Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Exhibits knowledge and proper application of established policies and procedures.
• Provides information for the development of nursing care plans.
• Observes and monitors residents' health status and communicates significant findings to the registered nurse.
• Safely performs therapeutic and preventative nursing procedures and treatments under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• As needed, floats to aid with staffing needs of the nursing department.
• Answers call lights/unit phone in unit secretary's absence.

Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• A valid New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Adult CPR Certified from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Current Physical, PPD, Varicella, MMRs and COVID Vaccination.
