Tallavera is offering an excellent opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Auburn, NY to provide healthcare services to children and youth in residential and school settings under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. No weekends required!

Responsibilities:

• Document and process notes clearly and promptly according to professional and agency standards.
• Observe, measure, record, and report health data for children to the RN and clinical team.
• Safely administer medications per policy and report any unusual responses.
• Obtain heights, weights, and vital signs; perform other tasks such as EKG as directed by the RN.
• Order and maintain stock of medications and medical supplies.
• Provide basic first aid in emergencies.
• Attend staff meetings and assist with transporting clients to appointments.
• Use Microsoft and Excel programs for data entry.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED and an LPN license from an accredited program.
• At least 1 year of experience in child care, medical assisting, or residential care.
• LPN experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving standards.
