Tallahassee Primary Care Associates is currently looking for a part-time HR Intern to work between the hours of 8a-5p, Monday-Friday.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 year degree in business, management or related field
• 1-3 years of administrative office experience
• Ability to work between the hours Monday-Friday 8a-5p.
• Ability to work well with others and under pressure
• Ability to articulate and communicate effectively in person, on the phone and in e-mail
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Essential Functions Of Position

Record Keeping

1. Ensure maintenance of personnel records, medical files and other employment related information
2. Maintain all acknowledgements of policies and procedures
3. Ensure personnel records are in compliance with labor laws and regulations
4. Conduct daily filing/scanning and record keeping of various documents

Staffing

1. Review applications received through the Applicant Tracking System
2. Update Applicant Tracking System as directed
3. Assist in scheduling interviews
4. Observe interviews and meetings conducted by the Human Resources Manager and the HR Generalist
5. Follow all applicable HR laws

Administrative

1. Answer multi-line phone system and transfer calls to the appropriate person
2. Greet applicants and direct them to the appropriate location in the building

Qualified applicant must pass a criminal background check to include drug test and reference check.
