The Office Manager role is to ensure the organization of administrative and HR-related tasks are handled for the practice. They offer support to dentists and oversee/delegate tasks among the front desk staff, interact with patients, answer questions about billing and insurance and schedule appointments. The Office Manager may also oversee employee payroll. 

A Day In the Life Of

The Office Manager is typically responsible for the coordination of a broad scope of activities within a practice including: 

• Management of all financial aspects of a practice 
• Scheduling of patient appointments/ treatment plans 
• Supervision and appointment of staff 
• Managing insurance claims 
• Taking care of marketing and public relations 
• Implementing procedures and policies 

What You'll Bring To The Table

• Leadership and employee supervisory skills 
• Microsoft Office Experience / computer skills 
• Education – minimum - High School Diploma 
• Previous Experience – Min 1 year in a dental office setting 
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
