Senior Systems Administrator

Qualifications:
Strong Linux administration skills – 3-5 years’ Red Hat or CentOS experience
• Experience securing Linux and implementing log monitoring tools
• Experience with configuration management and automation tools – Python Fabric
• Knowledge of system management tools such as RedHat Satellite or Spacewalk
• Experience with Horizon 7, VMware
• Windows server and webserver support experience
• Able to compile applications from source (R, RStudio) • Proficient in Python and bash scripting 
Responsibilities: 
Install and configure an automated deployment environment for RHEL 7 hosts. Implement a host intrusion detection system, antivirus solution, syslog monitoring system, and automated system administration solutions for an existing Linux server environment. Responsibilities:
• Create a Kickstart server for RHEL 7 hosts with custom kickstart file
• Implement a host-based intrusion detection system such as OSSEC
• Implement a remote syslog server and tools to review log information i.e. Elastic Logstash and Elasticsearch
• Implement an antivirus scanning tool such as ClamAV
• Develop compliance monitoring tools and dashboard to review compliance
