SURESTAFF is looking for Quality Assurance Associate for the well-known food company in Baltimore, MD. As Quality Assurance Associate for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced environment and be involved in food quality assurance and packaging. Quality Assurance Associate Shift Hours:
1st shift: 7am-3:30pm
2nd shift: 3pm-11:30pm
3rd shift: 10pm-6:30am
Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Associate:

• Complete audits at a designated cadence during various steps of the production process.
• Responsible for compliance and adherence of all employees to facility’s GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), monitor effectiveness and make recommendations
• Support team tasks as directed including communicating report results and organizing QA documents, files, etc.
• Understand and identify food safety risks in categories: Meat, Poultry, Seafood, Spices, Functional Ingredients, Flavors (powders, pastes, liquids), and other ingredients.
• Assist management in the regulatory compliance and food safety programs for the plant operations, to include GMPs, Food Safety
• Allergen management within multiple production/operation phases.
• Communicate critical information accurately and timely in support of department goals.
• Ensure food safety standards are met at all times.

Required Qualifications of the Quality Assurance Associate:

• Previous food, grocery, or restaurant experience preferred, but not required
• Knowledgeable in food safety preferred.
• High attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Able to work in a cold warehouse environment of 35 degrees.
