About the Role

Sundae is building its Sundae Referral Network to drive referral business from real estate agents. This is an opportunity to develop personally and professionally while working with a fast-paced team that values candor, authenticity, and creativity.

As a BDR, you are tasked with sourcing local real estate agents in and outside of Sundae's existing markets via cold calling, lead follow up, and local networking event attendance. You'll become an expert in networking, online media, and all of Sundae's services. Here you will be the frontline for engaging agents and establishing a long term relationship for our Sundae Referral Network. This role will be expected to work primarily from Sundae's San Diego office.

Responsibilities

* 100 calls a day to real estate agents, most of whom are cold leads

* Tee up 3-4 appointments per day for Account Executive

* Maintain detailed engagement documentation in the CRM including clearly defined next steps and reminders

* Cultivate relationships with real estate agents through referrals, social media, lead generation, event attendance, and more

* Develop a significant online presence by posting and engaging with online media, platforms, marketplaces, and blogs

* Maintain a working knowledge of local real estate activity and regulations

* Identify opportunities to attend local agent networking events and speaking opportunities

* Make live presentations to groups of real estate agents about Sundae Referral Network

About You

* Meticulous sales pipeline management

* Fluency with relationship management and email software platforms

* Professional experience in real estate and existing relationships with agents is highly desirable

Qualifications

* 3 years of experience in a sales role

* Ability to qualify prospective customers quickly

* Ability to rapidly learn and apply new strategies

* Working knowledge of current CRM and other Sales tech applications (Salesforce.com, Gong, Zoom, Slack, G-Suite, etc.)

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Demonstrated ability to continuously and proactively learn

* High-energy, positive attitude, and strong desire to improve through coaching

* Listens with purpose and naturally curious

* Strong organizational and time management skills

Compensation & Benefits

* The compensation package for this position is $40,000 base plus $40,000 commission

* Competitive benefits package with 100% paid premiums for employee and 80% for dependents

* Compelling equity package based on experience
