We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented UAS Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience ensuring the quality and reliability of UAS platforms through rigorous testing procedures. Experience with the MQ-9 platform is Ideal! This role involves designing test plans, executing tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product performance. 

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and system specifications.
• Conduct functional, performance, and reliability testing on UAS (MQ-9) platforms, payloads, and subsystems.
• Utilize various testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing, to validate system functionality and identify potential defects.
• Collaborate closely with integration and software engineers to troubleshoot issues and resolve discrepancies.
• Document test procedures, results, and findings in detailed reports for internal review and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on product design to ensure testability and reliability.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of test infrastructure, including test benches, simulation environments, and test automation frameworks. 

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Proven experience in testing and validation of UAS platforms or similar complex systems (MQ-9 Platform preferred)
• Proficiency in test automation and scripting in Python, Powershell, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW).
• Familiarity with avionics systems, flight control algorithms, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, UART, TCP/IP/UDP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
