Summit TRC is seeking to add an MBSE-Tools Developer to our team. This individual will service multiple MBSE teams by developing custom tools, plugins, and scripts. This individual will contribute significantly to Summit TRC’s MBSE team by developing custom, in-house Digital Engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist MBSE teams and leads by understanding their needs and developing custom MBSE-tools to address those needs
• Develop custom MBSE-tools by applying knowledge of various development languages and frameworks
• Enable innovative MBSE techniques by developing plugins for Cameo or similar modeling tools.
• Generate Interface Definition Language (IDL) from models by developing scripts
• Generate documents from models by developing templates in the Velocity Template Language (VTL)
• Query data and automatically update models by interacting directly with modeling tool APIs
• Set up automatic model validation rules in Cameo or similar modeling tools
• Identify modeling techniques that enable better MBSE-tools by applying a basic understanding of modeling languages such as the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and the Systems Modeling Language (SysML)

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other related discipline from an ABET-accredited university.
• Candidate must have demonstrated Software Development skills through relevant experience. Preferred 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Candidate must be a US-only Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
• Desired: Experience with the following languages -> Java, Python, VTL
