We are seeking a highly skilled UAS Mechanical, Operational, & Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and systems analysis, with a focus on unmanned aircraft systems. This role involves conducting in-depth analysis of UAS systems, developing new functionalities, and ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of our UAS solutions.

• Analyze and evaluate UAS systems for performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and implement requirements to enhance UAS capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new technologies and features.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of UAS software and systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance for UAS operations and troubleshooting.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in UAS technology.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in systems development, with a focus on UAS or related technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C , Python, or Java is a plus.
• Familiarity with UAS hardware and software architectures is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with simulation software and UAS control systems.
• Knowledge of FAA and DOD regulations and standards pertaining to UAS.
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
