Century City Business Litigation Law Firm seeks an experienced Legal Secretary. We
are a family-friendly firm and enjoy what we do while also delivering the highest
quality work product to our clients.
Requirements: The ideal candidate should have experience as a
litigation legal secretary. The candidate should have many of the following:
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
· Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
· Friendly and easygoing personality with a “get-it-done” work ethic.
· Knowledge of state and federal court rules, calendaring, and filing procedures.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Outlook and Excel) and electronic documents.
· Strong multi-tasking skills to work on a variety of assignments for several attorneys.
· Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Examples of daily tasks include supporting litigation legal practices, filing in state and federal courts, assisting with propounding and responding to discovery, drafting letters, and calendaring.
