The Quality Control Coordinator will work support project quality initiatives. This position requires someone who is reliable, self-motivated, and ready to be challenged in a busy environment

We are looking for a high performing Quality Control Coordinator

This position will be responsible for providing results driven leadership to the Quality Management System for Structural Technologies LLC. VSL

Key areas of accountability include Safety, planning, training, best practices, Quality, and continued improvement of responsible areas.

Knowledge of QS9001 is beneficial

Including:

• Implementing Methods to inspect, Test, and evaluate products utilized internal and external
• Ensuring that products adhere to internal and industry quality standards
• Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing
• Data Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products in and out bound
• Training of production personnel in production practices and quality assessment of goods
• Tracking product through the manufacturing process and ensure that parts in process are compliance to standards
• Document & publish inspection records of final products so traceability and compliance is available upon request
• Obtain, analyze and coordinate corrective action, on significant deviations from quality standards
• Be familiar with the following

• PPAP “Production Part Approval Process”
• APQP “Advanced Product Quality Planning”
• FMEA “Failure Mode and Effect Analysis”
• NCR “None Conformance Report”

• Strives for continuous improvement in overall defect-reduction and implements appropriate adjustments while working close with Technical Manager and production staff to troubleshoot issues on the production floor

Required Skills:

• Professional materials testing and evaluation techniques.
• Must be proficient with a computer with knowledge of Excel or similar spreadsheet application, Word and Outlook (including field data entry via e-tablet)
• The ability to learn, organize and prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, work independently, recognize issues and solve problems.
• Ability to provide feedback and mentoring to construction crews to enhance quality.
