Job Description
The Administrative Assistant/Project Coordinator provides high-level administrative support to the CEO and to senior leadership by creating meeting agenda, taking accurate minutes, and identifying action items. This position is virtual and will require some travel to in-person leadership meetings and events.

We provide an individualized virtual education so students are prepared to enter the workforce or continue with postsecondary education regardless of circumstance.
This is a full-time position. Ability to work independently, typically 40 hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 8-4 or as defined by the school.

Schedules and attends meetings, taking notes and recording minutes

In collaboration with leadership, sets and maintains agenda for a variety of meetings included, but not limited to, Senior Cabinet, Cabinet, all-staff calls, and School Board meetings

Assists with board governance: Maintaining agenda, sending board packets, minutes, etc

Identifies action steps from meetings and engages in appropriate follow up

Arranges travel and accommodations for leadership meetings

Collaborates with various departments on meeting coordination needs they may have

Handles highly confidential information

Additional duties when assigned
Required Education
High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, communication, or related field preferred
Required Experience
Required Qualifications

Great organizational and time management skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience using search engines (internet) for research projects

Demonstrated competencies with general technology, Microsoft Office Platforms (Outlook, Word,

Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, etc.), Google Platforms, Zoom, etc.

All clearances and background checks as required to work in a South Carolina public school

Ability to travel, sometimes overnight to quarterly leadership meetings as well as bi-monthly board meetings and additional meetings/conferences as requested (up to 20%)
