Streamsong Resort is Hiring a Human Resources Specialist | Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Bowling Green, FL

The Human Resources Specialist |Talent Acquisition will play a vital role in assisting and supporting all efforts and initiatives in recruitment, talent acquisition, and training within our organization. Responsibilities will encompass delivering and providing a full range of support in executing effective strategies to attract, retain, onboard, train, and nurture a diverse pool of qualified talent. Additionally, you will provide comprehensive HR support, including benefits administration, team member relations, and compliance, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal standards while fostering team member satisfaction and welfare.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with department managers to help develop and craft job descriptions, Staffing Requisitions, and other related TA documents and forms, and advise on candidate selection and hiring criteria. Perform Pre-Screening and Screening and assist in coordinating interviews for hiring managers, HR Managers, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Help manage all aspects of the hiring process, from requisitions and job postings, and onboarding procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate team member records.
  • Assist hiring managers and HR staff during the offer process, including salary recommendations and background checks.
  • Help develop and implement efficient recruiting strategies tailored to the organization's needs and industry standards.
  • Utilize HRIS tools like UKG for application screening and referral processes, ensuring compliance.
  • Assist with training of hiring managers in hiring procedures and ensure adherence to company policies and laws.
  • Support the cultivation of the company's online presence on platforms like social media, and LinkedIn to attract potential candidates.
  • Coordinate recruitment and placement of interns and manage exchange visitor programs.
  • Assist with the management of housing for the exchange visitor program and all pertaining responsibilities, including transportation and scheduled or planned cultural outings/events.
  • Help with managing exit interviews and the offboarding process.
  • Support with all training initiatives and record keeping/file and document management.
  • Support with oversight and the delivery and tracking of training programs, ensuring compliance with the approved budget.
  • Carry out and deliver any/all HR duties as assigned.

Non-Essential Functions:

  • Attend career and job fairs to support staffing and recruiting initiatives.
  • Provide support for other HR functions as required/assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

Education: Some college and/or a degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred. HR certification (e.g., aPHR, PHR, other TA-specific certification) preferred.

Experience: Minimum of one year in Human Resources or Recruitment required. Some experience in talent acquisition throughout all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is preferred. Some experience in learning and development or training, particularly in hospitality or related industries, is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective negotiation tactics.
  • Proactive and independent with a demonstrated ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Some familiarity with labor laws, regulations, and best practices in hiring and recruitment preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with applicant-tracking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms for candidate sourcing via social media platforms.
  • Ability to drive online marketing efforts to attract potential candidates.
