Strategic Innovation Group (SIG) seeks an in-house Business Development Capture Associate eager to work with executive management in qualifying and maturing opportunities for bid. The candidate will work closely with the President & COO, General Manager of Growth, and VP of Sales providing research, updating capture records, and supporting all capture activities related to federal contract opportunities that the company is positioning to pursue. This includes new business, the re-competition of existing business, and growth on existing contracts.

SIG is a fast-growing company that provides technical and professional services to U.S. Federal government agencies. Our growth is dependent upon business development activities that lead to contract awards and providing exceptional service to our clients on those contracts.
Once SIG has qualified opportunities to target, a capture process occurs with the intent of increasing the company's potential to win the opportunity (e.g. PWin). These targeted opportunities need constant updating as work to capture the opportunity is performed, more information is uncovered, and new opportunities are identified. We use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage our business development efforts. We use Deltek's Govwin system for much of our opportunity research. We will provide extensive training in the use of CaptureExec and GovWin. The company seeks a candidate able to quickly learn these systems.
Our company headquarters is currently located in Arlington, Virginia. This position is expected to be generally remote with rare HQ visits as needed. A successful candidate will be offered the following:
