JPMorgan Chase is Hiring a Market Strategy & Business Development Sr. Associate Near Washington, DC

The Market Leadership Team (MLT) program is a cross-firm program that brings together senior leaders from all lines of business in each of our U.S. markets to deliver the firm locally as one cohesive team. MLTs develop, implement, and drive cross-LOB strategies to advance business growth in local markets and support local engagement with employees and the community.

The MLT program is seeking a Market Strategy & Business Development Sr. Associate who will play an integral role in operationalizing and optimizing the strategic direction set by the MLT’s Head of Business Growth. This position will primarily focus on developing local strategies for the MLTs across the country, and implementing the business growth framework to ensure cross-LOB collaboration and growth results in each market. This role emphasizes the development and execution of growth tactics and ensuring alignment with the firm's (and each LOB’s) broader objectives.

The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of the firm’s business, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven organization. This individual will need to work well in a team environment and be able to represent the firm with professional acumen. • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry benchmarks, providing regular insights to the Head of Business Growth and MLT leaders
  • Strengthen connections within the firm, ensuring collaborative efforts between the Business Growth team and partners such as data & analytics, communications, etc.
  • Regularly communicate with MLT leaders and members, ensuring clarity and alignment in the business growth strategy execution
  • Act as a liaison between various MLT stakeholders, ensuring smooth and efficient information flow, especially between the Head of Business Growth, MLT Program Management team, and other relevant teams
  • Facilitate the day-to-day activities under the MLT business growth program, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with the firm's vision
  • Oversee a subset of business development projects, ensuring they adhere to timelines, scope, and quality standards
  • Support the data & analytics team in the development and iteration of business review templates, market metrics and KPIs, and other analytical areas related to business growth strategies
  • Ensure MLT initiatives are consistent with internal guidelines by coordinating with departments such as Legal, Risk, and Communications
  • Regularly update KPI dashboards and generate reports showcasing the impact of business growth strategies and initiatives.
