We are looking for candidates that are driven to find a career in Early Childhood Education. We are interested in hiring an Administrative Assistant who is friendly, professional, and capable of working on a variety of projects simultaneously. Our ideal Administrative Assistant would be an individual who has prior experience either working in an office environment or in early childhood education and is able to work independently with little or no supervision. For this position, you will primarily be working at the Front Desk, interfacing with parents and scholars during pick-up and drop-off, assisting the Director and staff with administrative and operational duties, providing prospective families with information by phone or email, and organizing all paper and electronic files.

General responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

- Working closely with Director and other administrative staff to facilitate daily operations and activities

- Maintaining confidentiality and helping to foster a community of kindness with faculty and staff

- Assisting with school opening procedures

- Maintaining and managing all classroom student-to-teacher ratios throughout the center

- Responding to requests from staff members on corporate group chat (for supplies, restroom breaks, etc.)

- Organizing lunch break schedules and staff shift schedules

- Organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments

- Managing correspondence (by phone, email, and website) with both current and prospective families

- Assisting Management Team with the collection and organization of student files

- Providing initial onboarding/orientation for new hires and employees; preparing documentation for staff files

- Organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments

- Monitoring and maintaining office supplies as well as facility inventory management

- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with classroom teachers, co-workers, families, and other staff members

- Attending all staff meetings and other work-related functions as required

- Ability to anticipate issues and problem solve appropriately

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Web Apps

- Familiarity with Child Care Management Software (e.g. Brightwheel, ProCare, Tadpoles, etc.)
