Stellar is a technology-driven marketplace that enables property managers and contractors to successfully resolve home maintenance issues, giving residents peace of mind. We leverage technology to make the maintenance experience seamless, simple, and scalable.
As our Business Ops Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring our supply is in balance with demand by using data to optimize our supply acquisition funnel.You will work directly with our Marketplace team who identify and engage new contractors (our “Pros”) to join our platform, where they will perform maintenance work on a contractor basis in our markets. You will own supply forecasting, top-of-funnel strategy, and funnel optimization with A/B testing.
This position reports into the Marketplace team and will be based in our Dallas (Addison) office.
More Details:
- Own our labor forecasting model, being able to analyze trends and keep the company ahead of labor needs
- Create zones and monitor metrics at a market’s zone level
- Create lead prioritization - scopes, markets, strategic initiatives (e.g. preventive maintenance)
- Analyze marketplace issues and challenges to make improvements and increase efficiency
- Stay informed about industry trends, market and pricing dynamics, and competitor activities
- Create and iterate on reports, dashboards and visualizations to help other stakeholders understand marketplace performance and dynamics
- Own ad strategy, spend, and optimization, making it easier for our recruiters to reach out to qualified contractors
- Own funnel analytics and be able to report confidently on our spend per lead
- Provide insights and recommendations to the recruiting team to improve acquisition strategies
Ideal Background & Skillset:
- 2-3 years of experience in an analytical field, such as consulting or banking
- Strong analytical skills including Excel/Sheets and SQL
- Demonstrated business acumen and strategic mindset
- Ability to communicate clearly and make complex data simple to a variety of audiences, including C-suite and frontline employees
- Ability to move fast and work both independently and collaboratively in a target-driven environment
- Familiarity with the maintenance/construction industry is a plus
- Familiarity with labor forecasting is a plus
