Program Assistant position that will coordinate and perform administrative duties under general supervision and will be responsible for handling/following complex clerical and billing procedures to bill third party payors for treatment service to patients. Specific duties include but are not limited to completing all required trainings, striving to broaden knowledge base/skills, ensuring adherence to agency's polices, resolving rejected claims, making sure outstanding claims are processed efficiently, working to maximize center revenue, etc. Further justification can be found in the accompanying documents. State Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.Agency (DMH) Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and two years clerical experience; or an associate degree in secretarial science or related fields; or three years of clerical experience.
