State of Missouri is Hiring a Staff Development Specialist Near Jefferson, MO

Job Location: This position will be located at MOVERS Project Office Building, 1738 E Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101

Why you’ll love this position:

This position will offer the opportunity to work closely across agencies and with multi-stakeholders to provide a rich experience of change for team members that will be using the Missouri Vital Enterprise Resource System (MOVERS). This position must be filled with someone who is a team player, has a positive attitude, and enjoys being a leader of change.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist the MOVERS Organizational Change Management (OCM) team in providing project and customer support by:
    • Drafting emails, communications, PowerPoint slides, job aids, guides, and calendar invites using the MOVERS style guide for trainings,
    • Create Excel pivot tables, slicers, charts, and related tools
    • Perform regular information maintenance to websites using WordPress plug-in’s like Ninja Tables and Accordion Files,
    • Tracking and reporting training attendance,
    • Respond to training emails

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college OR two or more years of professional experience with projects, organizational change, or knowledge transfer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • How a project works and general project knowledge is helpful,
  • Background in training or organizational change,
  • Knowledge of JIRA, WordPress, Microsoft tools (Outlook, WebEx, Word, PowerPoint)

Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
