The Office of Broadband (OBD) is growing to facilitate this once in a lifetime opportunity to bring a highspeed internet connection to every Missouri home and business. OBD will distribute $1.7 Billion in funding, the 3rd largest award in the United States, to providers across Missouri, changing the reality for the thousands of Missourians who currently lack access to reliable broadband. OBD team members will help design funding opportunities, promote knowledge of these opportunities across the state, and work to ensure project success. The community development position will be housed primarily in Jefferson City, though OBD will consider applicants who can work at other locations across the state. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
This is a temporary, full-time, benefit-eligible position based upon federal funding.
Position funding will end no later than December 31, 2028, with an extension possible based upon additional funding availability.
Lack of post‐secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
