State of Missouri is Hiring a Project Specialist (4555901) Near Jefferson, MO

Job Location: This position will be located at 930 Wildwood Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109 .

Why you’ll love this position:

The Bureau of Environmental Health Services (BEHS) is embracing IT modernization by using ESRI software to collect, analyze and automate inspection workflows. You will get the opportunity to gather requirements, create new workflows, design new systems, and work directly with state and local inspectors to positively impact their day-to-day operations and provide metrics related to inspections for DHSS leadership.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with DHSS GIS Liaison & DHSS GIS Specialists on current and upcoming BEHS projects.
  • Gather technical requirements from state and local program staff for inspection workflows and identify ESRI solutions to match technical requirements.
  • Design and configure ESRI solutions for inspection systems.
  • Develop and implement training plans for state and local inspectors to use developed ESRI solutions.
  • Assist DHSS GIS Liaison & DHSS GIS Specialist to provide ongoing support for BEHS and local inspectors using inspection systems.

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems, Business Administration, or other qualifying degree as deemed appropriate by hiring manager.
  • 5 years experience using ESRI products to develop web-based mapping applications; namely Survey123 Connect, Survey123 Field App, Experience Builder, Dashboard, and other web-based mapping applications.
  • Excellent communication and speaking skills appropriate for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work across diverse groups and develop solutions to challenges in a highly partnered and matrixed environment with linguistic and cultural proficiency.
  • Proficient in using state email software for scheduling meetings/trainings with state/local inspectors.
  • Proficient in creating webhooks using Make.com (formerly Integromat).
