Lead Customer Service Representative

Self-Insurance Unit

(In-house Only)

Salary: $36,000 - $39,000

What you will do:

  • Work together with Injury Processing to process daily EDI submission as well as any self-insurance claim issues.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining accurate self-insured and group trust employer information in AICS.
  • Respond to request for Individual self-insured and group trust lists.
  • Answering phone calls for the unit and provide caller with accurate information or direct to the correct unit member.
  • Maintaining multiple spreadsheets.
  • Processing and maintaining unit database for all self-insured employer annual report submissions.
  • Provide assistance with Unit Tasks, Division Modernization, and Special Projects with variable levels of complexity, difficulty, or level of responsibility

All you need for success:

Qualifications

  • 4 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed)

Desired Attributes

  • Associate's Degree in Business or closely related field
  • Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and ability to professionally communicate both orally and written
  • Ability to excel in progressive responsibility roles to include but not limited to project lead, training others, and serving as a primary point of contact for complex tasks
  • Ability to be highly motivated and work as part of a diverse team
  • Ability to quickly learn new applications/systems
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public
  • Ability to complete assignments accurately within specified timeframes
