State of Missouri is Hiring an Administrative Professional Near Jefferson City, MO

Salary: $1,300 - $1,417.00 semi-monthly

Job Location: This position is with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks, and will be located at 1659 E. Elm, Jefferson City, MO 65101

We’re looking for people to join our team who enjoy working with other people and who want to care for Missouri’s outstanding natural and cultural resources. This position is crucial to the State Park Ranger Program, the Safety and Wellness Program, and the division Director’s office, providing a fast-paced environment, with plenty of variety and varying levels of responsibility.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist Executive Assistant in providing administrative support
  • Review, code and submit invoices for payment entry
  • Schedule meetings, trainings, travel arrangements and take meeting minutes
  • Various data entry, list updating and tracking and file management
  • Coordinate, prepare, proofread, and format various correspondence, forms and notices
  • Process, submit, complete and track personnel action requests
  • Order supplies
  • Prepare and coordinate housing leases and reports; process rent payments; send rent certificates and reconcile rent leases and payments.
  • Other duties as assigned

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Three to five years of office/clerical support experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of a variety of computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
  • Bill pay, budget and data entry experience preferred
  • High level of confidentiality required
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and accurately
  • Ability to lift at least 20lbs, occasionally or as needed
