Scheduler –
The Office of Illinois Governor, JB Pritzker is seeking a Scheduler to join the office located in Chicago, IL.
Working closely with the Executive Office of the Governor, the Scheduler has oversight over all scheduling for events, internal and external meetings, and calls for the Governor of the State of Illinois. The Scheduler reports directly to the Director of the Executive Office of the Governor and is responsible for the utilization of administrative expertise and strategic planning to ensure that all scheduled activities for the Governor are executed effectively. This role is extremely detail-oriented and requires the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects.

- Possesses excellent organizational skills, including the ability to handle simultaneous priority projects and meet established deadlines.
- Has the ability to anticipate and adapt to time allotments and unforeseen changes to schedules.
- Has excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Maintains relationship-building skills, along with the ability to work seamlessly with employees and external stakeholders at different levels.
- Is a team player with a positive disposition, strong interpersonal skills, and sound judgment.
- Strives to work well within diverse environments with a high degree of independence and in high pressure environments.
- Be flexible with the ability to shift priorities quickly as work demands regularly require work outside normal business hours/weekends.
Essential Functions:
- Schedule all events, external meetings, internal meetings, and calls for the Governor.
- Prepare the daily schedule for the Governor and distributes copies to Governor, staff, and security detail.
- Communicate with all event and meeting requestors to obtain additional information.
- Coordinate schedule with personal and non-State teams.
- Work with all teams to review upcoming events and advance/communications needs.
- Review the public and internal online scheduling form submissions and organize for weekly review.
- Lead daily and weekly scheduling meetings with Governor’s Office staff.
- Book travel arrangements for the Governor and security detail.
