This is a full-time temporary position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of administrative experience. 

A master's degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one year of the required experience.

Administrative or clerical experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

An equivalent combination of education and experience which equals seven (7) years can substitute for the above requirements.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Data entry
  • Writing correspondences
  • Update mailing and call tree lists
  • Update new employee information including: Update them in the phone tree, add them in the COOP contact list, add their address in the GIS map (field staff only), setup their FedEx account (BFI and QM only), add them to an address spreadsheet, forward the all staff call to them and add them to the thermometer tracking list.
  • Orders, tracks, and fulfills supplies and equipment needs.
  • Maintains active inventory of supplies and non-sensitive equipment.
  • Assist with meeting coordination including setting agendas.
  • Tracking thermometers and uniform inventory
  • Schedules conferences, training activities, and meetings
  • Prepare travel authorizations and reimbursements for the quality assurance team and back up for Bureau of Food Inspection
  • Track travel to ensure that all travel is submitted and approved in a timely manner.
  • Review mail when arrives and deliver to correct people or contact person to notify them of mail for their section.
  • Receives, reviews, answers (or forwards for appropriate handling) consumer complaints, technical questions, or requests for stop sale release from Call Center.
  • Assist with gathering responsive documents for public records requests.
  • Provides support to division grants and purchasing liaisons.
  • Assists with rulemaking.
