Schedule : 7 : 30am - 4 : 00pm, Monday - Friday

Pay : $20 / hr.

Shearing Machine Operator responsibilities :

• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine cutting dimensions.
• Load metal sheets or plates into the shearing machine and secure them properly.
• Operate the shearing machine to cut metal to precise measurements and angles.
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Inspect cut pieces for conformance to specifications using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Maintain proper documentation of production and quality records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Shearing Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with setting up and operating shearing machines or similar equipment.
• Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on producing accurate and high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
