St. Mary's General Hospital is Hiring a Human resource coordinator Near Passaic, NJ

Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and possess exceptional organizational skills.

Duties :

  • The HR Coordinator processes new hire paperwork, background checks, coordinates drug screens and completes the I9 / E-Verify.
  • Will process status changes, term paperwork, promotions, and all other changes and get all appropriate approvals before processing in the HRIS.
  • Processes evaluations and keeps personnel records up to date.
  • Assists with hospital recognition programs and assists employees with general Human Resources questions.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree required or 6 years of related experience.
  • Previous HR experience required. Experience in Healthcare and union environment strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR software system Lawson and Applicant Tracking Software Icims very helpful.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel experience required.
