Grade School Administrative Assistant 2024-2025
St. Joseph Grade School
St. Joseph Grade School is seeking a full time administrative assistant to support the school administrators, teachers, staff, students, and families
Responsibilities include:
Supporting the principal, assistant principal, and director of admissions and enrollment with internal and external communication, calendaring, and other clerical tasks as needed
Serving as the initial point of contact with families and visitors who come into the school
Ensuring that student cumulative files and records are maintained and archived as necessary
Managing daily attendance
Securing substitute teachers
Tracking school expenditures against the annual budget
Procuring school materials, textbooks, and equipment as deemed necessary by faculty and staff
Administering and documenting the dispensing of prescription and over-the-counter medication to students
Monitoring faculty funded sick days in accordance with diocesan policy
Hours:
7:00 am - 4:00 pm from August 1 - June 15
Qualifications:
Proficiency with Google suite (gmail, Google docs, Google sheets, Google calendar)
Experience using PowerSchool a plus; willingness to learn PowerSchool
Experience answering phone calls
