Summary

Plans, manages, and evaluates daily clinical and general office operations, personnel, and resources of the physician practice office in a manner that is fiscally responsible, in accordance with policies and standards, and in compliance with all governmental and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Completion of one of the following:
   • Three years of administrative experience, including one year of management experience in a health care setting.
   • Five years of administrative experience in a health care setting.
   • One year experience working in a lead clinician role where administrative/operational experience was acquired and progressive responsibilities were assumed.
3. Fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office software.
4. Valid driver’s license, motor vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare/business-related field, or graduate of a recognized clinical certification program.
2. At least three years of progressively more responsible healthcare management experience.
3. Primary Care experience
