Springhill Medical Center is a full service hospital serving southwest Alabama. Our surgical services include outpatient, inpatient, open-heart and robotic surgery. The hospital is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment, meaning doctors have advanced technology to help them quickly determine a patient's health problem. Springhill's unique heart center offers state-of-the-art services all under one roof. The campus is also home to primary care physicians, a senior residence, sleep center, cancer center, orthopaedic surgery center, wound care & hyperbaric center, and an emergency department staffed by all board-certified emergency medicine physicians.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Springhill Health Services is looking for a well-organized Executive Assistant to provide support for the Corporate Office. This is a great opportunity to work with high-level executives and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization. This position requires a high level of discretion/confidentiality. We are looking for an independent individual who can work well with and manage people. Ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention for details. Responsibilities:

  • Direct support to the President/CEO of SHS ensuring that company goals are accomplished and that operations run efficiently
  • Manage professional and personal scheduling for President/CEO, including agendas, mail, email, phone calls, client management, and other company logistics
  • Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information to senior executives
  • Manage all travel logistics and activities, including accommodations, transportation, etc.
  • Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all documents and materials, professional and personal

Required/preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Masters required
  • Post Grad/PhD preferred
  • Pilot license preferred
  • Valid passport and willing to travel, including international travel
  • Be flexible with working hours and able to travel with limited notice
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
  • Effective writing and communication skills
  • Experience keeping up with and managing complex schedules and high-level business relationships
