Automated Handling Solutions (AHS) offers a differentiated and comprehensive suite of material handling equipment and industrial automation solutions to marquee customers worldwide. AHS was formed through the combination of two specialty conveying and material handling businesses and a controls systems integration business: Spiroflow, a global manufacturer of material handling equipment and Spiroflow Automation, a provider of control systems integration, and Cablevey Conveyors, a market leading manufacturer of patented tubular drag conveying systems for food and beverage and high value industrial applications.
Essential Job Functions - Customer Service Lead
· Conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times, leads by example, approaches conflict rationally and adds positive enthusiasm to the overall work environment
· Listen and respond to customers’ needs and concerns
· Provide information about products and services when requested by customers or potential customers.
· Take orders, determine charges, and proper payment type
· Research answers or solutions as needed and resolve returns or challenges in a proactive manner. Works closely with engineering team.
· Record details of customer contacts and actions taken
· Refer customers to sales representatives, managers, or others who can help
· Convert verbal and written purchase orders from customers into sales orders
· Create part quotes from request for quotes received from customers or RFQ notification system.
· Input system quotes into the required data log, insure each input is as informative as possible
· Engage the customer to obtain all the necessary information to provide and accurate quote
· File documentation accurately.
Requirements
· Must be proficient with computers, computer software, and other office equipment.
· Must have strong communication skills and be able to provide information over the phone 75% of the day.
