SpecialtyRx is Hiring an Administrative Assistant / Pharmacy Technician Near Orlando, FL

Our Company
SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.
We are seeking a highly motivated Administrative Assistant Pharmacy Technician professional to become part of our team! The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with phone personality and customer service skills.
Under general supervision of the VP of Operations, and in accordance with local, state, federal and company laws and regulations provide a variety of Human Resources, administrative, office and clerical functions.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to all departments
  • Answer the central telephone system and direct calls accordingly
  • Greets and interacts professionally with all internal and external guests/personnel using strong interpersonal skills and providing direction and resources to address needs
  • Maintain office supply inventory
  • Assist with various projects
  • Maintains the department emails and phone lines, answering questions and providing requested information, or referring questions to subject matter experts
  • Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas according to prescribed methods
  • Compile and maintain required license, registrations, and certifications for employees
  • Assist with onboarding tasks (issuing badge IDs) 
  • Process returned script credits from facilities
  • Assist with Client Services giveaways, i.e., baked good, etc.
  • Assist with all other pharmacy technician duties as assigned by PIC
  • Perform duties assigned by the VP of Operations
  • Perform other administrative, pharmacy technician, and special projects as required and/or as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician preferred
  • Previous pharmacy experience is preferred 
  • Driven and motivated problem-solver
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask effectively and adapt to competing demands
  • Ability to maintain professional and cordial demeanor, team player
  • Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
  • Must be detail-oriented 
Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
