Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Manager to oversee and manage our field operations for residential roofing projects. The Field Manager will be responsible for coordinating and supervising field crews, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining high-quality standards. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in managing field operations.
Duties:
- Coordinate permits and supervise field crews, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations
- Oversee the planning and execution of field projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination between field operations and other areas of the organization
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project status, address any concerns or challenges, and provide support to field staff
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including documentation of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during field operations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity in field operations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing field crews or similar roles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure
- Proficient in using project management software and tools
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the industry
