Dynon Avionics is Hiring a Configuration Specialist Near Woodinville, WA
Hours of Work: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
Wage: Salaried/Exempt
Location: On-site in Woodinville, Washington
Position Summary: Responsible for coordinating all day-to-day Change and Configuration Management activities at Dynon. Competently uses change management processes for prompt and efficient processing of all change requests. Ensures each change request contains accurate and complete information when it is entered into the Change Record.
Position Responsibilities:
- Facilitate New Product Introduction (NPI), generate component and assembly specification documentation.
- Update/create Configuration Items (CIs) within Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Oversee baseline configurations for applications, software, and hardware assets.
- Identify and coordinate processes for version management, archiving, and change management of engineering documentation.
- Identify, organize, and control software and hardware configuration changes.
- Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders and to communicate clearly with a range of people at different levels within the organization in a timely manner.
- Experience in documenting process and procedures.
- Support and facilitate auditing and reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience & Education:
- Experience in configuration management, preferably in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of configuration management principles, processes, and best practices.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools and MRP software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Combination of 4 years education and experience.
- Must be 18 years of age and legally allowed to work in the United States.
