SourceDay is the leading cloud-based software solution that automates the procurement and purchase order management process for organizations to manage their direct spend.We’re currently expanding our Finance team by adding professionals to expand our Financial Planning and Analysis capabilities. ResponsibilitiesThis position will be responsible for building and maintaining our financial models, managing the budgeting and forecasting processes, and financial reporting among other activities.This candidate is comfortable with ambiguity, a fast-moving work environment, and has the ability to operate independently.Responsibilities
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process each quarter, alongside our CFO
- Perform detailed analysis of customer revenue and profitability trends
- Understand our Gross Margins and look for opportunities to improve them
- Work cross functionally to prepare adhoc reports for all departments
- Support vendor negotiations and waste reduction efforts
- Own the daily cash forecast
- Assist Accounting function as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3-5 years FP&A experience in a SaaS company
- Excellent financial modeling skills demonstrating superior Excel skills and a thorough understanding of accounting concepts and financial statement modeling
- Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly shift gears and effectively manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
