The Marketing Content Specialist will support the overall content development strategy across multiple programs and channels by translating marketing objectives into compelling content and designs. The Marketing Content Specialist will manage the development of content and designs that drive forward our core products and services. This position seeks a creative professional with a strong writing portfolio. They will work with key stakeholders, including product teams, sales teams, and external marketing agencies, to develop engaging content that attracts and retains customers.

Core Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Manage the development of content across all Somos product lines.
• Scope of creative responsibility includes website, email, social media, blog content, press releases and whitepapers and supporting graphics for publishing.
• Research content and trends to ensure that content is relevant and appealing.
• Articulate marketing objectives in a clear and creative way to internal stakeholders
• Create compelling marketing assets for teams across sales, marketing, product, and executive leadership.
• Work collaboratively with teams to ensure that SEO and SMO strategies are effectively implemented.
• Proofreading and editing content before publishing.
• Deliver measurably engaging content regularly to support business objectives.
• Ensure brand guidelines and voice and tone of our messaging is consistent with strategies and project goals.
• Manage social media calendar.
• Monitor content across all media channels to ensure it drives engagement, builds online communities, and cultivates relationships.
• Support QA testing of marketing campaigns.
• Support internal communications activities.
• Collaborate with marketing team members to create campaigns that maximize consideration and revenue.
• Support various customer events throughout the year.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of digital marketing experience building digital marketing campaigns, devising strategies and marketing concepts within a channel from scratch
• Experience with SEM, Facebook’s branded content tool, LinkedIn, Twitter and Marketo.
• Strong creative writing skills - examples of blog posts, social media posts or school/professional creative work is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, pay close attention to detail, take initiative and look for opportunities, stay organized and follow through.
• Ability to maintain a strong working relationship across the internal campaign teams and other departments.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred
