Solugenix is assisting a client, a prestigious and large investment management company in their search for a Sr. Business Analyst. This is a 6-month contract opportunity based out of Irvine, CA.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be focused on gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data from multiple sources to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive business outcomes. You have confidence in your skills to dissect data from multiple sources, develop insightful metrics, and manage special projects all in context of solving business challenges. Data will be your strategic asset, using it to anticipate questions and needs of multiple stakeholders across equity management, fixed income management, finance, and investment operations.You will be a key business partner to many leaders across multiple cross-functional teams, acting as one of their primary problem solvers and support systems for decision making. You will also manage ambiguity and iterate on conversations with leaders to reach a tangible business objective, ensuring that stakeholder requirements are received, understood, and validated.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in data visualization, leveraging Tableau to produce complex dashboards for senior leaders.
• Proficiency in Extract-Transform-Load processes (ETL), leveraging Alteryx to join, clean, and normalize disparate data sets.
• Comfortable with managing ambiguity and have successfully leveraged data to produce analytics and insights for stakeholders.
• Comfortable researching and finding large amounts of data resolving data-centric problems with significant scope and complexity.
• Highly collaborative problem solver, ensuring key stakeholders are involved to reach business outcomes.
• Strong critical thinker with demonstrated ability to analyze challenges and develop thoughtful recommendations.
• Strong organization skills, you are a driver, self-directed and focused on delivering tangible value to the business.
• Highly authentic, respectful, and engaging. You’ve facilitated effective meetings, ranging in size with diverse audiences.
• Skilled at establishing, nurturing, and growing working relationships customers and leaders from multiple different lines of business, on which you will rely.

Responsibilities:

• Comfortability with data warehousing technologies such as SQL.
• Experience leading large-scale projects with cross-functional initiatives and are familiar with project life cycles. Your resilience has helped when you’ve enlisted the help of others, sifted through large data sets, re-prioritized, strategized, tailored communication, embraced conflict and identified critical issues.
• Ability to automate existing data pipelines.
• Ability to document processes and write clear, structured business requirements along with outcomes.

Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA: $75.86/hour to $75.86/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
