HR Administrator, Payroll Specialist

We are looking for HR Administrator, Payroll Specialist. This is a 6 month contract opportunity in Plano, TX (Hybrid).

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience with Paylocity is important.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills with all levels of the organization are required.
• Computer knowledge and skills, i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage numerous projects and meet deadlines as required.
• This position will report to the Senior HR Manager.
• The candidate must be well-organized and possess strong communication skills. 
• Basic understanding of accounting and finance reports/principles.
• Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant, or relevant role.
• Experience with Payroll software such as Paylocity.
• Knowledge of labor laws in CA, TX, and PA.
• Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
• Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining personnel records.
• Managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides).
• Updating internal databases. 
• Experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks promptly.
• Ensure the HR department supports employees while conforming to labor laws in CA, TX, and PA.
• Organize and maintain personnel records.
• Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave).
• Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides.
• Revise company policies.
• Liaise with external partners, and vendors, and ensure legal compliance.
• Answer employee's queries about HR-related issues.
• Assist with payroll (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules).
• Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms.
