Social Solutions Global, Inc. is Hiring a Product Manager, Payments Near Austin, TX

Are you a passionate innovator looking to harness the power of technology to do more good? You've come to the right place. At Bonterra, our purpose is to power those who power social impact. To that end, we serve the people who make social good possible-the doers behind the scenes across nonprofits, public agencies, corporations, philanthropic organizations, and foundations.

As the second-largest and fastest-growing social good software company in the world, Bonterra brings together leading solutions from CyberGrants, EveryAction, Network for Good, Social Solutions, and their respective entities. By bringing our intuitive technology and expertise together, Bonterra will enable unprecedented connectivity between social good organizations and their community of supporters and constituents. This will reshape philanthropic giving, empower digital transformation, and bring the social good sector the technology it needs to accelerate lasting social change.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

We're looking for an experienced product manager with deep knowledge of payment workflows and integrations to help shape and grow the future of payments across our product suite. We're uniquely positioned to provide payments capabilities that power social good and drive social impact, and this Product Manager role will be responsible for ensuring our products deliver on this vision as part of a significant Bonterra-wide initiative.

Our Product Managers combine a passion for discovery efforts, a desire to constantly engage with clients, leadership skills to drive change for our clients, quantitative skills to measure impact, and presentation skills to evangelize their visions. We progress beyond a myopic focus on "what to do today" towards "what we need to build for tomorrow." The impact of our work empowers social good organizations whose goals are to help those who need it most, and our products must live up to those critical customer missions every day. This position carries a great deal of influence by building and fostering trust among team members, clients, and stakeholders. Understanding our clients' perspectives, goals, and processes to determine how our software can empower them will be critical to their success and ours.

Who You Are:

  • * Curious
  • * Collaborative
  • * Passionate about solving problems
  • * Optimistic advocate

What You'll Do:

  • * Create and evangelize a vision that delivers valuable and usable payments capabilities to our clients across our software platform
  • * Deliver a roadmap that focuses on how we enable our clients to raise, distribute, and receive funds through an optimized payment infrastructure
  • * Collaborate with a talented, driven scrum team to deliver your roadmap. Incorporate team feedback while you aim to deliver the best capabilities for our clients. Exercise your strong prioritization and communication skills to build consensus
  • * Work hand-in-hand with your fellow Product Managers and broader cross-functional teams to ensure we are delivering a cohesive and consistent platform strategy together; don't work in a silo
  • * Lead discovery efforts directly with current and prospective clients, gathering feedback and insights that help drive your vision and roadmap. These include win-loss calls, user groups, customer advisory board calls, and direct client interviews
  • * Incorporate feedback from other departments in the company, ensuring you understand the impact of our decisions on the business as a whole
  • * Measure and communicate the progress and impact of your team's work directly to high-level stakeholders, quantifying the value of your progress and adjusting based on new data

Ideal Requirements:

  • * 1 years of experience leading payment integrations or product managing payment workflows and interactions
  • * Experience with Stripe, Adyen, or similar payments infrastructure vendors
  • * 3 years of experience in software product management within an Agile environment preferred
  • * Experience with social good organizations is a plus, but not a necessity
  • * Excellent time management skills and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • * Welcoming attitude to receiving and adapting to feedback from both users and internal stakeholders, building stronger products as a result
  • * Strong leadership skills that ensure everyone is aligned on product goals and bought-in to your vision
  • * Experience using data and experimental approaches to inform design and product decisions, collaborating closely with design partners
  • * Strong communication and presentation skills used for presenting internally to leadership team members as well as running client discovery sessions such as user groups and product demos
  • * Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple functional areas of business - engineering, design, finance, sales, and marketing
  • * Demonstrated ability to identify solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative

Our Culture:

Our team is made up of industry experts and advocates who are 100% committed to supporting the doers of social good. We are currently undergoing an effort to create the vision and values that embody our collective organization and embrace the individuals who make up our community.

Some of our comprehensive and competitive benefits include:

  • Generous PTO policy

  • Equity for ALL regular, full-time employees from individual contributors to management - share in our success!

  • Up to 15 paid company holidays including some commemorating social justice events and self-care

  • Paid volunteer time

  • Resources for savings and investments

  • Paid parental leave

  • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance with additional access to health and wellness programs.

  • Opportunities to learn, develop, network, and connect

  • When we can-company-sponsored events and swag!!

We are committed to being an equal opportunity employer and evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy (including childbirth, lactation and related medical conditions), national origin, age, physical and mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information (including characteristics and testing), military and veteran status, diversity of thought and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
