Role Summary:
The Retail Channel Manager will play a crucial role in managing and expanding our retail channels. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities including relationship management with our retail partners, strategizing product arrangement and displays, coordinating sell-in procedures with procurement, planning, and activating promotions, as well as channel and store expansion. The successful candidate will work closely with our marketing team to release and coordinate Point of Sale Marketing (POSM) materials, manage brand ambassadors, and ensure a consistent and quality presence across all retail locations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, ensuring a mutual understanding of goals, expectations, and strategies.
· Collaborate with procurement to negotiate and execute sell-in strategies, ensuring our product portfolio is optimally represented in each retail channel.
· Plan and coordinate effective promotions and activations to drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
· Drive channel and store expansion initiatives, identifying new opportunities for growth and partnership.
· Work closely with the marketing team to design and deploy impactful POSM materials.
· Manage and expand our team of brand ambassadors, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and effectively promoting our brand values and products.
· Coordinate with retail stores to manage schedules, product placements, and promotional activities.
· Conduct regular quality checks and store visits to ensure compliance with brand standards and to gather insights for continuous improvement.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for retail channel partners, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years of experience in the cannabis or vape industry, with a proven track record of retail channel expansion.
· A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for Business, Marketing, or a related field major.
· Demonstrated strong communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
· Must reside in the Greater Boston area or be willing to relocate.
· A responsible, responsive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
· Quick learner, adaptable, with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to excellence.
