The Project Manager is responsible for managing software projects associated with the company’s growing internal project portfolio and is accountable for the management of multiple concurrent software projects. Oversight of costs, resources, priorities, delivery, and customer communication. The Project Manager reports to the Chief Information Officer
Essential Functions
· Lead the planning and implementation of projects
· Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
· Plan and schedule project timelines, and sequence activities to meet delivery dates
· Monitor and control project deliverables using appropriate tools
· Provide direction, prioritization, and remove obstacles for the project team
· Develop a communication strategy with stakeholders and establish a communication plan
· Monitor and report on progress, problems, and solutions of the project to all stakeholders
· Manage project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques
· Assists in directing both internal and external resources within project guidelines and timelines
· Collaborate and communicate with other teams to coordinate cross-project initiatives and activities
· Implements and recommends modifications to project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources
Education Required
· BA/BS degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge & Experience
· 4-8 years of progressive experience in Project Management implementing custom software applications solutions and 2 years of Agile Project Management
· Possess high-level knowledge and proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques
· Mastery with one or more Agile Frameworks including, Scrum, Kanban, SAFE, XP, Lean
· Deep experience with Jira - dashboards, KPIs, and designing workflows
· Demonstrated experience in project reporting, for project teams and management
· Related project experience with on and offshore blended teams
· Proficient in utilizing project collaboration and management software tools such as Confluence, Jira/Greenhopper, Rally, Smartsheet, MS Project, Visio, and all Office Tools
· One or more PMI-PMP, PMI-ACP, and CSM certifications preferred
